Counselling in Brighton and Hove

Hello and welcome to my website on counselling in Brighton and Hove.

My name is Andy Brett and I’m a qualified and professionally registered Counsellor and Coach, living and working in Brighton. Through this site you will be able to learn more about me, what sets my approach apart and the way we could potentially work together.

Life can be challenging for a whole range of reasons and knowing when you would find it useful to talk things through with someone is a sign of emotional maturity. My work helps people create change in their lives, whether that’s in terms of how they approach the future, feel in the present or regard their past.

This might mean undertaking short term counselling or be longer, open-ended therapy. If you are more focussed on the future and have specific objectives in mind, a series of coaching sessions may work best.

How Do You Decide?

Choosing the right approach and therapist can seem difficult, especially if you are doing it for the first time. To help you decide take a look at my ‘Why Come To Counselling‘ and ‘Why Come to Coaching‘ pages. If what you read rings a bell or fits your circumstances in some way, then get in touch and take the first step towards the future you really want.

I hope the information in this site gives you the confidence to get in touch. If you would like to ask any questions about counselling in Brighton, I’m very happy to speak to you or answer emails. Have a look at ‘Making Contact‘ for details of how to reach me.

I am fully qualified, experienced in a wide range of work and professionally registered with the BACP and the Association for Coaching. My practice is LGBTQ affirmative.
